This is a very interesting video retrospective for comics, I just hope that they have a good voice audio of the speaker, but it might be this low audio quality fit for the teaser only. Let's watch out for it coming this December.

This is an e-catalog that I found on net after reading some local e-mags online, the catalog is a perfect guide on what kind of toys you want for your kids. I found lots of interesting toys and I love to own one of those Cars ride-on, its a perfect toy for Ashton, since he now loves cars and anything that are automobiles. The e-catalog is from a mall in the US and it serves as a guide and checklist of items with tag price that will be offered this Christmas. I'm going to check out our catalog of our local toy stores here and see what toys they offer for this coming holiday season.

It was revealed from last October's trade launch of SM Mall of Asia ARENA that the venue will be officially operated by West Avenue Theaters Corporation, headed by Senior Vice President Mr. Edgar C. Tejerero. The Arena will soon be open on May 2012 and we still have a lot of time to wait and also prepare for the new and big venue for sports and entertainment that is located in Pasay City. Fansilog.com - OPM artist and fans unite in one music website

Promoting original pinoy music is always a hard job, and its one of the most important part of a job for a performing artist or band, because it is the only ingredient needed in order to be heard and be popular to have a high album sales. Music promotion becomes a trend when social media came in and it is the most cheapest and most effective way of connecting the artist to their fans, to shows, sponsors, gigs and endorserment. I became a band manager for awhile and i just experience how hard it is to promote and get gigs for my boys, especially when it comes to paying gigs.

Thanks to new media and new breed of music promoters, we now have FANSILOG.COM, our newest OPM music hub and website created by fans for artist and fans. I saw the music video "Sayang" by Arko, I believe that the music video is produced by Fansilog.com for them, I like the quality and production concept of their music video.

Since the website is still on beta, I like to suggest that they can also add some media content like photo gallery, twitter embed on every artist's page, I'm sure they will add also a link to the artist Facebook and Twitter, I just don't get the right reason how will fans intereact to their website, there's a comment discussion below the page and it uses the Facebook comment system. Maybe they can add a system like those Paypal chip in, for fans request if they want a local artist to have its own music video, I'm not sure if thats a brilliant idea, but that's the only thing that pops into my mind on how fans can help their favorite artist. Kudos to the creators of the website, you have my full support for this.

Mamma Mia! musical show to open in Manila this January 24, 2012

I remember the movie Mamma Mia! and its theme song ringing the bells of my ears, I still remember that ABBA cassette tape of my mom that she usually plays it every Sunday, I remember also that Looney Tunes cartoon cat character Slyvester saying the word "Mamma Mia!, pussycat gonna eat a spaghettah, to make him nice and fat!" then he eats the pasta after failing to open a can of tuna using a can opener that was owned by a house mouse.

But let us quit on remembering the cartoons, this Mamma Mia! is a musical show that will stage at the CCP Main Theater next year, it is one of the most awaited and world's number 1 musical show. I know you are excited! me too, as a non fan of musical shows, I think I must see this show next year!

Tim Burton's "Frankenweenie" movie for Halloween 2012

Tim Burton, director and the creative genius behind the movies of "Alice in Wonderland", and "Nightmare Before Christmas" will release a new stop motion animated film about a boy named Victor and his beloved pet dog Sparky. Everything is fine until Sparky died and Victor brought his pet back to life with the power of science. Imagine, a pet dog turned into a Frankenstein.

Frankenweenie will be filmed in Black and White and will be rendered into 3D. With a screenplay by Burton and John August, the film's voice cast is lead by Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan and Atticus Shaffer.

Walt Disney Pictures announces that they will be releasing a 3D version of the animated movie "The Lion King", we will be seeing Simba and Hakuna Matata bunch of friends - Timon and Pumba and the rest of the animals of Pride Rock, this time the animated movie is in full 3D, we can now sing "I just can't wait to be king!" wearing our 3D glasses.

December 14 is the target date for the Philippines, a perfect timing a week before that MMFF blocks all foreign movies.

Here we have some juicy info and secrets about the Lion King, read all the fun facts below

SECRET NUMBER ONE… THE ORIGINAL TITLE OF THE MOVIE WASN’T ‘THE LION KING’
“When I first started work on The Lion King, the movie was called King Of The Jungle,” reveals the film’s producer Don Hahn. “King Of The Jungle was a metaphor for this allegorical story about human behavior. We were thinking about the idea of how it’s a jungle out there and Simba has to exist in this jungle. However, there was no jungle in our story; they’re out on a savannah. Another title we looked into was King Of The Beasts, which made more sense because a lion is the king of beasts – but then we threw that out because we wanted to focus on a simple story about a lion king. At that stage we thought, ‘Why not call it The Lion King?’ The story is about a kid who wants to be king and his uncle frames him for murder, so he grows up in the wilderness and then he has to come back to claim his throne. That’s the whole story, and it’s all about a lion king, so the name stuck.”


SECRET NUMBER TWO… PRIDE ROCK WAS CREATED IN BURBANK!
“We took a trip to Kenya to research the animals and the landscape for the movie,” explains The Lion King co-director Roger Allers. “There wasn’t much time for sketching during the trip because the animals were always very quick, but we did a lot of photo research and we absorbed the feel of the landscape and the weather. In the movie, Pride Lands is modeled after many different areas of Kenya. There are certain things lifted from the landscape around the Samburu District, but we used a variety of inspirations. Many people try to say, “Pride Rock is based on this mountain here.” But they are wrong. An artist in Burbank invented Pride Rock.


SECRET NUMBER THREE… ZAZU WAS ORIGINALLY A SMALLER SPECIES OF BIRD
“In the early stages of development, Zazu was a little, pointy-beaked bird,” reveals co-director Roger Allers. “I can’t remember the exact species, but we decided to change him into something very different after our research trip to Africa. We kept seeing these wonderful hornbill birds hopping around the place and they had so much character. The upward curve of their beak suggested a sense of haughtiness to them; and at the same time they had wonderful feathery legs that looked like they were wearing pajama bottoms. They looked so funny and they had so much personality that we knew Zazu would have to be a hornbill. It really added to his character.”

SECRET NUMBER FOUR… IT TOOK NINE MONTHS TO CONVERT THE MOVIE INTO 3D
“When I first heard that The Lion King was going to be converted into 3D, I wasn’t sure it could be done,” reveals producer Don Hahn. “However, I was blown away by the results. It looks fantastic! All in all, it took about nine months to complete the process. We spent the first three months preparing and testing the shots, followed by six months of actual production work.”


SECRET NUMBER FIVE… THE CREATIVE TEAM BROUGHT REAL LIONS INTO THE ANIMATION STUDIO TO RESEARCH THEIR MOVEMENTS
“When Walt Disney worked on Bambi, he brought a variety of forest animals into the animation studio for research,” reveals The Lion King co-director Rob Minkoff. “The artists could see how the animals looked up close and they could observe how they moved around, so it was a great way to study the wildlife. That inspired us to bring real lions and cubs into the studio to research the animals of The Lion King. A very famous animal expert called Jim Fowler, who was the host of a television show called Mutual Of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, brought the animals in for us. It was very exciting and very informative for all of the animators working on the movie.”


SECRET NUMBER SIX… RAFIKI WAS A VERY DIFFERENT CHARACTER IN EARLY VERSIONS OF THE STORY
“In the early stages of production, the character of Rafiki was very different to the character you see in the finished film,” admits co-director Roger Allers. “In early versions of the story, Rafiki was a serious counselor to the king. He was a very wise man, so we hired the actor Robert Guillaume to do the voice. However, by the time Robert came into record the voice, the character had completely changed. We had come up with the idea of Rafiki being more of a crazy hermit monk. He was now a wacky and mysterious character with a mystical side and a wisdom that shows through occasionally – but a very playful, nutty side too. Robert is a very dignified person and this wasn’t what he had signed up for, so we spent the first recording session trying to find the voice and the laugh of Rafiki. Robert nailed it that day and the rest is history.”


SECRET NUMBER SEVEN… NATHAN LANE AND ERNIE SABELLA ORIGINALLY AUDITIONED FOR THE ROLE OF THE HYENAS
“The casting process for The Lion King was extremely long and very involved,” explains co-director Rob Minkoff. “We went through lots of different ideas for the various roles in the movie, but two of the great successes were Timon and Pumbaa. Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella were performing in a Broadway production of Guys And Dolls in 1992, when The Lion King was being made. They came to an audition in New York and they bumped into each other in the lobby, which is when they discovered they were both auditioning for the roles of hyenas. They asked the casting director if they could audition together and they were hilarious as they read their lines, but they didn’t seem right for the hyenas. That’s when we thought, ‘What if we use them as Timon and Pumbaa?’ It was the perfect fit.”


SECRET NUMBER EIGHT… THE HAKUNA MATATA SONG WASN’T IN THE ORIGINAL SCRIPT
“In the early stages of production, we had a song called He’s Got It All Worked Out in the movie,” reveals co-director Rob Minkoff. “We wanted a fun, bug-eating song because we wanted to convey the idea that Simba is not being a lion when he meets Timon and Pumbaa; he’s giving up his lion ways and he’s moving into this new life away from his home. However, we couldn’t convince everybody that making the entire song about eating bugs was a good idea. Soon after, the research team came back from their trip to Africa with the phrase ‘Hakuna Matata’. We talked about it in a meeting with Tim Rice – and that’s when the idea struck. I remember Tim saying, ‘Hmmm… Hakuna Matata. It’s a bit like Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo.’ A song was born!”


SECRET NUMBER NINE… PUMBAA’S BELLY-RUBBING WAS INSPIRED BY AN ANIMATOR’S WIFE
“My wife was pregnant with our first child during the time I was working on The Lion King,” explains animator Tony Bancroft. “If you watch a pregnant woman –– you’ll notice that they like to rub their bellies. It makes them feel comfortable. It’s appeasing. Well, I used to watch my wife rubbing her belly and it made me think, ‘That would be such a fun element to put into Pumbaa since he’s a big, fat guy.’ When you see Pumbaa lying on his back staring up at the stars in the movie, you’ll notice he does that gesture. I animated that scene and I had him stroking his stomach softly like a pregnant woman because it seemed so natural. It makes him more human and relatable.”


SECRET NUMBER TEN… THE FILMMAKERS ORIGINALLY WANTED CHEECH AND CHONG TO PLAY THE HYENAS IN THE MOVIE
“We had a really tough time finding the right voices for the hyenas in the movie,” reveals co-director Rob Minkoff. “Gary Trousdale, one of the directors of Beauty And The Beast, helped us out in the early stages of development and he created an entire storyboard of the hyenas as if they were played by Cheech and Chong. It was hilarious, but Cheech and Chong weren’t working together at the time, so we knew we wouldn’t be able to book the pair for the roles. Around that same time we heard that Whoopi Goldberg was interested in the film and when we asked her if she’d like to voice a hyena she said, ‘Yeah, great.’ So we got Cheech and Whoopi instead of Cheech and Chong!”

Its been 3 years already that Jollibee produces their own kiddie show- Jollitown every Sunday and now that the show landed in ABS CBN, the reach for parents and kids grow more as it shows new episodes every Sunday, I remember their old episodes that Jollibee doesn't even speak and uses hand movements and signals, I'm glad that they removed that concept and created a much interactive talking Jollibee, plus with a moving mouth. 11th World Bazaar Festival 2011 opens this Dec 2-18, 2011

Christmas shopping is here again, and for the 2nd day of December it will be grand opening of Worldbex's 11th World Bazaar Festival starting this December 2-18, 2011 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila,gates will be opened from Mon-Thur 12nn-10pm and then Friday to Saturday at 10am-12mn. This is the grandest Christmas bazaar in the Philippines, I visit this every year and cool items are being sold here as well.This year the bazaar celebrates Christmas and also have the theme "Da Best ang Pasko ng Pilipino". The bazaar is still in partner with ABS CBN, so expect our Kapamilya stars like Judy Ann Santos, Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban, Xian Lim, Matteo Guidicelli and Phoemela Baranda will be there and will have their own booth in the 11th World Bazaar Festival.

From December 2 to 18, 2011 come and experience the longest Christmas bazaar with three shopping weekends at the World Trade Center - for the benefit of the ABS-CBN Foundation. Doors open from 12nn to 10pm every Monday to Thursday and 10am until midnight every Friday to Sunday.

They have 600 booths that sell different kinds of items from top retail brands, food, gadgets, handicrafts, sporting items, toys and more toys for Christmas! I always shop here in search for the weirdest and coolest items or gadgets of all time! I also hunt for toys and comics with super affordable prices.

Same as last year, and every year, there will be lots of activities happening at the stage area, we have Woobie, the bazaar's mascot, will be there to be the Santa Claus of the event giving away toys and appliances to lucky patrons. 2012 Worldbex Planner will be raffled off every hour of the bazaar (I wonder what's the look of the planner). Kids can write their Christmas wishes in the "Make a Wish card" and they hang it in the giant 30 foot Christmas tree, every Friday a card will be chosen and lucky kid will have his/her special wish granted by Worldbex. <--- awesome! Come Monday...Remedy Skin Repair Cream

“Come Monday…” is aweekly series that will involve a review of, or commentary about,  websites, movies, documentaries, televisionshows, sports, music, and whatever else may tickle my fancy at the time.  Be assured that these reviews will begenerally positive, as in accordance to the Jimmy Buffett song “ComeMonday.”  This is subject to change,however.  In fact, I would be mostderelict in my duties to neglect going on a rant every once in a while.  For rants promote change, and change can begood—right?  Therefore, since good isgenerally considered as being a positive force in 99.3% of the paralleluniverses that I am aware of, even a rant could be considered as beingsomething positive, and a genuine hissy-fit would be even better (so I’m told).

Yes,there is nothing like looking at a really gross picture to help purge the remainsof Turkey Day overindulgence from your system, but that is not what I am goingfor here.  For this is really aboutsomething that can really help with skin conditions like that.

No,that is not a picture of my right leg, but both of my lower legs look quitesimilar.  It is called [Venous Ulcers],and in my own particular case, the bumps are a lot more pronounced.  In fact, most of mine are at least a half ofan inch tall and cover at least two-thirds of the area between my knee andankle.

Tobe perfectly honest about it, I do not know if that is really what I’vegot.  For the last few doctors who haveexamined me have just nodded their heads in recognition, but no officialdiagnosis was made.

Youwill find a diagnosis of [Edema] in my medical records, and this is what I’vegot in my head as the cause for whatever is going on now.  For the first sores appeared where the skinon my lower leg had burst from extreme swelling, and those sores evidently grewinto the mess that remains.

Yes,I have been tested for poor circulation, which was one of the most painfulthings I can recall ever having to endure. For whatever I have makes even the slightest point of pressureexcruciating, and while they were going over my lower legs with an [ultrasound]wand, it felt like they were pressing down on them with a rather large vise.

Oh,and it was all for naught, I suppose. For they concluded that I do not suffer from poor circulation in mylower legs.

Sinceit does not really bother me until one of our pups starts feeling neglected andgoes to get my attention by putting their front paws on one of my shins, I havenot given it much thought.  My wife isoften used by our Heavenly Father to help remove my head from my rear, however,and she asked me to see if [Remedy Skin Repair Cream] might help.

Asusual, I said that I would, and then didn’t. When He had her tell me, “You think that you are going to die before yourlegs will have to be amputated, but that’s not what’s going to happen,” Istarted using the stuff.

Toput it mildly, IT IS ABSOLUTELYAMAZING!!!  For I could see asignificant reduction in the size of the bumps after just the firstapplication!

Alas,I cannot say that it all better now.  Formy calves still look more like [regulation-sized footballs] than the way theyshould, but I can tell you that it is looking better and better.

No,this is not a paid review, but I would still highly recommend this product toanyone with a troublesome skin condition. Oh, and I might add that it also smells plumb purty, but my manlymanliness won’t allow it.
